The Radioddity GM-30 is a versatile, 5-watt GMRS handheld radio engineered to deliver reliable long-range communication for outdoor enthusiasts, overlanders, and group activities. Out of the box, it features 30 pre-programmed GMRS channels, including 8 repeater-capable channels to significantly boost your signal distance, alongside an integrated dual-band receiver for scanning UHF and VHF frequencies. Equipped with a clear LCD display supporting single and dual-watch modes, the radio ensures you can easily monitor multiple channels or keep track of critical NOAA weather alerts.

PC and On-The-Go Manual Programming

While you can easily customize features like adding or deleting channels directly from the keypad, the radio fully supports PC programming. Using the software, you can modify the 250 available blank storage channels, set up custom privacy codes, and fine-tune your channel configurations much faster than manual input. This radio is also compatible with Chirp!

Flexible and Customizable Channels

Beyond standard GMRS, the programming software unlocks 220 customizable receiving channels. You can program these blank slots to scan local UHF and VHF frequencies—such as local emergency services, marine radio, or business bands—giving you a highly capable, custom-tailored scanner alongside your primary two-way radio

Synchronous Display (SYNC) and Dual-Watch Capability

Instead of choosing between a simple, clean interface or technical data, the GM-30’s unique “Display Sync” function allows users to view both the channel name and its precise frequency simultaneously on the screen while in single-watch mode. Additionally, the dual-watch mode allows you to monitor two completely different channels or bands at the same time (such as keeping one eye on your primary GMRS group chat while scanning a local VHF or NOAA weather channel in the background). It’s a massive safety and convenience feature for anyone tracking multiple groups or emergency updates in the field
