Victor is a self-taught comms tech and believer that when the grid goes down, a solid GMRS radio will be worth more than its weight in gold. He learned radio theory by troubleshooting gear in the pouring rain during off-grid drills and hardening his own homestead against the unexpected. Realizing that a lot of manuals are written for engineers rather than the people who actually need them, Victor started writing the kind of no-nonsense guides he wished he’d had years ago. Today, his focus is on practical, grid-down readiness—helping everyday folks, preppers, and neighborhood groups build reliable radio networks so they can stay connected when it matters most.
